Between the Bushes Restaurant is surrounded by acres of high bush blueberries located in the scenic Annapolis Valley just minutes from Hwy 101!
"Field to Fork" is designed to bring fresh, locally grown produce to your table by featuring in-season fruit and vegetables. We select a local producer and bring their story to you. It's an opportunity for us to support our local farming community. As an added bonus, Chef Shawn Thorsen creates special feature dishes for our menu. The Annapolis Valley offers an abundance of crops including: mushrooms, asparagus, fiddleheads, raspberries, apples and blueberries. When these and other items are in-season, Between the Bushes Restaurant partners with and supports the local farming community by featuring their products.

We are pleased to announce that Chef Shawn Thorsen has joined Between the Bushes Restaurant this year.  Whether it’s an elegant dinner for two or a large group, quality and presentation are always number one priorities at Between the Bushes. Chef Shawn has introduced many new tastes to the restaurant for 2013 that you will want to try, among which include the Maple Glazed Oven Smoked Salmon, Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breast, or for the vegetarian lovers, Grilled Vegetables and Lentil Tartine. Our signature dessert is still Blueberry Apple Crisp, made with blueberries and local apples.  Be sure to check out the full menu for the rest of the yummy desserts.

As a proud member of Taste of Nova Scotia, we used fresh local ingredients in designing the menu. Our menu offers a variety of dishes with something sure to please everyone. Come experience the tastes of Nova Scotia for yourself.
