First find Highway 101 that runs between Halifax and Yarmouth through the Annapolis Valley, and head towards Kentville/New Minas.  You may also take Highway 1 - the scenic Fundy Trail (previously the Evangeline Trail), if you are touring.

We're only about 10 km (6 miles) from highway 101, north on Middle Dyke Road.

From Highway 101, take Exit 12 and turn north at the bottom of the ramp
go straight through three sets of lights and one stop sign
at the second stop sign, turn left and go approximately 100 feet and turn right
travel about 1 km and look to your left to see the blueberry bushes.

  • From some areas within Kings county, you will be able to follow the blue and white toursim signs to "Between the Bushes Restaurant"

That's us in the large gold building with the burgundy trim. We are at 1225 Middle Dyke Road. Come on in!
If you're coming to Blueberry Acres from Highway 1, through New Minas, you are on Commercial Street. At the set of lights by the Shell gas station, turn north. Now you are on Middle Dyke Road and at the second set of lights; one more set of lights, then follow the above directions from there.

If you are a visitor to the province of Nova Scotia, you might want to stop at a Tourist Bureau (look for the ' ? ' signs) and pick up the Nova Scotia Doers and Dreamers Tour Guide. This is a fantastic resource, and it will provide maps and locations of the sites of interest, including picnic stops along the way. Simply turn to the Fundy Trail section; follow the Fundy Trail (Highway 1) from Halifax. Or, you can exit at any point on Highway 101 and join the Fundy Trail.
